tricking five year olds

One night I was babe sitting and I was trying to put the girls to bed but Audrey (who is five) kept turning on the lights. Finally I got tired of it and thought of something.I got out some tape and went into the bedroom, I taped the light switch, tested it, and it worked! I couldn't turn on the light. So I closed the door and muted the TV so I could hear what Audrey would say when she couldn't turn on the light. I waited until I finally heard Audrey say "why can't I turn the light on?" I started laughing and didn't have any light problems for the rest of the night.

television cartoon

A few days ago my sisters were watching a kid cartoon called Diego. In the cartoon, the main character was in Antartica and was rescuing some polar bears with his cousin Dora ( who is from another cartoon). Then when they were almost done with the rescue, Diego asked Dora why the polar bears got in trouble. Dora replied that the earth was heating up and all of the ice was melting so the polar bears couldn't find a home. That's when I got irritated and turned the TV off.
I called my dad and told him about the cartoon, and he told me to never turn Dora on again. The science hasn't been proved that the earth is heating up as much as we are being told. So I am mad at whoever came up with the idea to show younger kids something that is not true or hasn't been proved to be true.

Albert Einstein

Have you ever took interest in Albert Einstein? I haven't. Until just recently when I saw a poster with one of his sayings on it. This is what it said..........

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

Knowledge is limited

But imagination encircles the world.

I love that saying. It is weird though because knowledge & imagination are both very important. Without imagination you can't create a new design for a building. But without knowledge you won't know what to do first.

African Mastiff

I have a dog named Joey. She is a South African Mastiff/Boerboel. Unless you get one with a good attitude or if you are a good strong dog trainer then you will want one if not, then you don't want one because the are big strong scary and spoiled. But not always. If you get lucky and if you train it well you will end up with an awesome and fun loving dog.

Some Chickens aren't dumb

I have two chickens that are Americanas. Their names are Harriet and Fudge. They are both very smart. It may seem hard to believe, because most chickens are dumb. Some types are actually very bright. One day there was a thunder storm moving in and lightening started to flash across the sky. My other chickens were running around like psycho maniacs, while Harriet and Fudge went into the chicken coop very calmly and were just fine. It was very surprising to me and at first my parents didn't believe me until the next thunder storm. They saw the same thing I did. So that proves it. Not all chickens are dumb.
